Bio

Aidan Nicholas Sullivan. There really isn't much to say about him, depending on how you look at it. Nobody could really quite pinpoint just how Aidan came to be, exactly. He wasn't one to discuss his past, and would often change the subject when asked a revealing question. The fact of the matter is, his mother and father had separated when he was roughly ten years old and he opted to go wherever his father was going. His mother moved to Chicago, where most of her family was. Going through this much of a change at such a young and impressionable age was no small feat. All he ever knew was what he'd grown up with until that point, and to be placed in such a different setting really took a toll on the young boy. He missed his mother and his younger siblings, and wasn't doing so well in school. It seemed as though not a day could pass where he wasn't distracted and angry, and his father began to worry about his well-being. For the next three years he was subjected to a multitude of tests and evaluations, only to be told that he was a typical young man. He was given the diagnosis of having Attention Deficit Disorder and his psychiatric visits were ended.

Fast forward seven years and a very messy Aidan comes in to play. Nothing in his life seemed to be going right at all, and he was falling very far from grace. He'd started to hang around the 'bad' crowd during his senior year of high school. Though they weren't technically a gang, that's what other people assumed them to be. Every day, from morning until night, they were all together. Causing trouble was their specialty. Aidan's father had since remarried and wanted nothing to do with him at this point. Having gotten used to life as it had been, there was no way that Aidan wanted to go to live with his mother in Chicago. So, needless to say, he began to live on the street with his so-called friends at the time. Selling and doing drugs was the only thing he lived for.

By the time he turned twenty-two, he'd cleaned up his life a bit. When he met the girl that would soon steal his heart, he knew he couldn't go on with how he was living. She came into his world like a long breeze, and he couldn't seem to take her in quite enough. They spent a year together, and she helped to repair all of his damages in that time. He put his heart and soul into their relationship and had even saved up enough money to buy her a ring. He had been doing small construction jobs on the side, and wasn't making that much money. He depended on her more than she knew, and that's probably why she did what she did. Aidan had the whole night planned out to perfection. They were going to share a romantic dinner, and he was going to pop the question. Upon entering their house, he quickly felt uneasy. Something was out of place, though just by looking around he was unable to place his finger on it. And after a bit of investigating, his worst fears were realized. He'd walked in on her and another man in their bed, and from that day forward he vowed to never love again. And he never truly did. He met a random girl at a bar and brought her back to his place. After an intense night of passion, they parted ways. Six weeks later that same girl called Aidan and told him the news. He was going to be a father. His daughter Ava was born shortly after that, and she became his most treasured accomplishment. It wasn't too long after that his heart was stolen once again. Chloe Monceau had been in Miami for the summer and had every intention of going back to New York City at the end. They were quickly pulled into an intense relationship, and Chloe was even planning on moving in with Aidan. All of it came to a crashing halt five months later when Chloe returned home early only to catch a cheating Aidan with another woman. He had done the same to his new love as his former girlfriend had done to him. There was a huge fight and it ended with Chloe leaving for New York once more. All communication between the two ceased from that point on.

His decision to go back to school was nothing but a headache afterward. He'd never taken his school career seriously, and so to go back to college was anything but easy. He was majoring in business, figuring that he needed to get his life on track, and soon. Doing those small construction jobs here and there wasn't going to do him much good. By the time he turned twenty-six, his life was exactly where he wanted it to be. He'd finished school, and had even started his career. He began to be the head CEO of a very large and successful company, something that he never expected. Extra time was even taken to return to school, where he began to take classes on how to become a powerful lawyer, his long-term goal in life. He had even embarked on a new business venture and became part owner of Club Addiction, pairing himself next to the likes of Ava Moltisanti. A big promotion at his company sent him packing for Albany, New York, where he quickly took residence at Mooreview Apartments. His new apartment was significantly smaller than what he was used to, but it would work just fine. Three weeks into his new living arrangement, he stumbled upon his former love, Chloe Monceau. She was moving into Mooreview as well, and the two quickly fell right back into their old habits. But not for long. Their rekindled relationship was doomed from the start. It ended when he cheated on Chloe with his best friend at the time.

When Aidan's problems with drugs began to resurface, he almost always became unfaithful to whomever he happened to be with at the time. It was an endless cycle of him returning to drugs and failing at his relationships. He'd encountered a woman who was as deeply invested in drugs as he was, and the two were quick to form some sort of a sick bond with one another. Their relationship didn't last long, with her having been carted off to rehab as soon as she found out that she was pregnant. His second child, Nadia Nichole Sullivan, was born roughly eight months later. From then on, he has tried to keep some sort of stable friendship with her mother, but hasn't always been able to do so. He has since been given custody of their daughter. While he remained single, the need for a fix was a constant necessity. That all came to a halt at the start of the new year, when he put himself in rehab and followed through with it. Two more children later ( to the same woman, that he actually ended up marrying, only to divorce two years later ) and he was right back where he started from. Alone. After the death of his mother, things quickly turned sour in his life, and he no longer wished to associate with the people that he once knew. He took off to New York, the only place he knew he fit in. It was short-lived, as he was soon desperate to escape the familiarity of his surroundings, and opted to try Chicago, where two of his siblings resided.

Years of going back and forth between the same handful of women came to an abrupt end when he began to realize that he had feelings for one of his employees. She had been in his life for many years at the time, and though they had always flirted, he usually presumed it was in jest. Until it wasn't. He asked her out, and they immediately started up a relationship. Later that same year, they were married, and things were going well until mounting pressure between the two took a toll on their relationship. They couldn't agree on whether they should have a child together or not, and Aidan became angry and decided that the idea was completely off the table. This was when Brooklyn decided she definitely wanted the two of them to share a child, and nearly three years into their marriage, Kennedy was born. Pressures at his restaurant and at home led Aidan to falling into some old habits of his, though he kept it hidden from everyone at the time. When his behavior began to change and Brooklyn found out what he was doing, she gave him an ultimatum, and he took off for Miami to begin rehab. Months later, he returned, and although their marriage hasn't exactly been the same since, the two remain together.
